Our Board of Directors

Veterans 1st of NEW, Inc Board of Directors met for an interview with the Press Gazette this week. We talked about the problems veterans currently have finding transitional and affordable housing in Brown County and the solutions we will have for our residents for mental health issues, job and housing insecurities. Our President, Kim Nohr, has over 40 years of experience in home building and maintenance as well as property management. Our Vice President, Rick Giesler has over 40 years experience as an engineer in property development and management. He has developed a tiny homes village for a local pet rescue company for prospective pet adoptees. Our Secretary, Gail Nohr, has over 40 years in helping veterans with health issue, substance misuse issues, and is a resource navigator. Our Veteran Mentor, Jeff Reince, has over 20 years in Law Enforcement and mentoring veterans who need help with starting a new life and providing ways for them to do that.
