DAV Chapter 3 Sponsors a Home

DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Chapter 3 is sponsoring a home in our Veterans 1st of Northeast Wisconsin Village! We are so grateful to the DAV Chapter 3 members for their generosity in offering safe, supportive housing for our area veterans. DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans in positive, life-changing ways each year.

We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capital Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life". 

DAV Chapter 3 helps area veterans with financial assistance and by connecting them to resources. DAV empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. They provide free, professional assistance to veterans and their families in obtaining VA and other government benefits earned through service. They offer free rides to veterans who need help getting to and from VA medical appointments. They fight for the rights of wounded, injured and ill veterans on Capitol Hill in Washington DC and at the Capitol in Madison.
