Community First Credit Union Donation

Veterans 1st of NEW would like to express our sincere gratitude to Community First Credit Union for their recent generous donation of $10,000 to help us build our first Phase of small homes in our Veterans 1st Village this fall. With their donation we will be able to purchase some of the discounted materials needed to build one of the seven homes that a veteran and their spouse will be able to live in while securing meaningful employment and obtaining health and wellness services for them to become self-sufficient.

Community First Credit Union has a long history of giving back to the communities where its 157,000 member-owners live and work. They support a wide variety of non-profit organizations including House of Hope, the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity, the Volunteer Center of Brown County, the Boys & Girls Club, YMCA and more.Financial wellness is a top priority and they have a robust volunteer program with employees volunteering over 24,000 hours to 431 organizations in 2023.
