Town 'N Country Quilt Guild

Town 'N Country Quilt Guild (TNC) is donating these quilts and twenty others for our residents in our village. TNC was officially formed in the fall of 1995.  2025 marks the 30th Anniversary of TNC.

Several of the charter members of the group had met one another while attending a quilting class sponsored by the PACE (Pulaski Area Community Education) program.  When the class came to an end several attendees decided to meet and share ideas and discuss the art of quilting.  From there the group has grown to approximately 35 members which meet on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at Premier Bank in Pulaski.  We invite anyone with an interest in quilting and the desire to share and/or learn the tricks of the trade to attend a meeting to see if it is right for you.

The first quilt show of the Guild was held in the spring of 1997 at the Pulaski Senior Center.  A Quilt Show has been held every other year since that time, presenting no item for viewing more than once with only Guild members exhibiting.  The 2025 Show was a huge success with 148 entries.  The feature of the show was the 24 quilts made for Veterans 1st of NEW.  These quilts will go to our first residents in our village for them to take with them when they are ready to move into their own home that we will help them find outside of the village in about five years.

The Guild participates in annual service projects.  For 2025, Lap/wheelchair quilts and pillowcases for an area nursing home will be distributed at Christmas.

Quilts are also made and donated to area shelters throughout the year. Their next show will be in the spring of 2027.
